4 generations!!!

During Spring Break, some of the Cayse family made the LONG trip down from Missouri to Ft. Worth to visit. We took Addie on her first road trip to Ft. Worth to see everyone and she did great! She got to meet some of her extended family for the first time - GiGi, Aunt Jan, Uncle Wayne, Lesley, and Bryan. Jacob and Addison also both got to meet their second cousin Ethan for the first time. We only had one day off from work, so it was a quick trip, but we were glad for the visit!

Addison can hold objects now!

And holds her head up really well!

Jacob gets to go swimming almost every weekend. We all love the water!

Addison 3 Month photos

I'm finally getting around to posting some of our favorites from Addie's 3 month photo shoot. She will be 4 months old this Thursday! Tonight she rolled over and over for the first time. She had done it before on isolated occassions, but this afternoon she did it 5 or 6 times! She is holding herself up on her tummy with her back arched and hands on the floor too - she is also loving her new bounceroo - I have a feeling she'll be making her way around the house somehow soon!!

My sweet little boy

We've started putting Addison to bed around 8pm after her bath and spending a little time with Jacob to read books and get him to bed. The first night we did this, all 3 of us were in the kitchen and Jacob was staring at the baby monitor - he got really sad that the baby was not with us so we had to go check on the baby. When he saw that she was okay, we all went back to doing dishes. Then I noticed he was still staring at the baby monitor - I asked him what he was doing, and he turned around and had eyes full of tears. Real tears too, not the fake 4 year old tears to try to get his way - really, truly, sad boy. I said - Jacob, what is the matter?!?! He said, Mommy, I don't want the baby to sleep all by herself - she's gonna be scared... So, we got the baby and we all cuddled in the rocking chair together...

Here are some more pictures of my 2 sweet little angels from the past couple of weeks. I don't think we take enough photos, do you?

Our best attempt as some professional photos

We decided since we have the fancy new camera that we would try to do a photo shoot of our own. Some of these poses are similar to shots we have on the wall of Jacob at Addison's age. So, we turned them black and white and will frame them next to the ones we have of him. It was our family Valentine gift this year - we just need to get the frame. Also, most of the photos still need to be cropped...Let us know how you think we did!

Just some pictures we thought were cute...

Jeff's new camera

Jeff finally bought a new camera with money and gift cards he's been collecting for quite some time. It takes great pictures - here are some of a birthday party Jacob went to at a local gym.
